Factions
Section 2-501's story isn't an easy one to tell. It's not a simple story at all in the first place. There are intricate fantasies, strange conspiracies, questionable moralities, the complicated ways of politics, and maybe a coffee shop here or there that donates to or interferes with the expansion of 2-501. Some are government organizations, including Section 2-501 itself and the United States powers that run it. Some are world spanning corporations that only wish to see it grow. But there are a number of others that may have passive influences or hostile intentions. All are listed below for your perusal.

Section 2/Regiment 501 (Section 2-501)
Codename: Tactical Assault & Negotiations
Tactical Assault and Negotiations is simply a codename. Its real name is Section 2 among FBI agents, and Regiment 501 among the Armed Forces, as it holds a place in each organization. Section 2-501 is a collective platoon of 35 soldiers, divided into 7 different squads, each possessing unique traits. They are trained to become elites responsible for containing threats and participating in military duty when called to action. Often Section 2-501 is compared to the SWAT team, since they are deployed similary in squads and are only called upon for behind-the-scenes duty rather than open war. Soldiers in 2-501 are listed as soldiers of the US Army, however the administration of 2-501 is mainly occupied by those of high status within the FBI. The organizers of 2-501 are officers of the Navy.

The US Army
The United States Army is the host of Section 2-501, providing them with weapons and ordinance, as well as some soldiers and onboard staff to maintain the campus and its facilities. Soldiers of Section 2-501 are generally listed as being part of the US Army, as they hold rank and status within the Armed Forces, as well as command of any soldiers of lesser rank outside of their regiment. |
The US Navy
The men and women who hold the highest position within Section 2-501 are of the US Navy, such as Admiral Preston Cole. The brains behind the organization originated in the Navy, and as such they manage and maintain Section 2-501. Outside of administrative purposes, the Navy provides Section 2-501 with transport and combat vehicles, including ships, planes, cars, and tanks. |
The US Federal Bureau of Investigation
Much of the staff that maintains Section 2-501 are of the FBI. These men and women are the central hub of Section 2-501's connections to the rest of the world; they run campaigns, they order ordinance and materials from the Army and Navy, and they themselves provide jobs and organize operations for 2-501's soldiers to participate in. A separate intelligence division of the FBI is dedicated solely to finding out information about terrorist threats and other such problems, and it can be located on campus. |
