  Rosette is sent on another mission, but her arrogance makes her lose her pistol during combat. Rosette desperately searches for it, fearing Sister Mary's wrath, but the loss of her weapon puts much more at stake...

A 12 year old Rosette and her younger brother Joshua magically open up a door that leads them to a coffin and a young boy. When asked who he is, the boy replies that he is a devil named Chrono. After this, another devil calling himself Aion appears and takes Joshua away.

Rosette awakes to find herself in her bed at the Magdalene Order. It appears she has had a dream about a past event that occurred in her life four years ago.

During that same morning, Rosette and Chrono collect a new set of bullets from Elder, which are called the Spirits. Rosette’s mission is to give these bullets to Sister Kate. Elder also explains that inside each tiny bullet lives a devil, and once fired a mystical dark force will strike at the target.

Not long after talking to Elder, Chrono and Rosette are assigned another mission. Without the Elder's knowing, Rosette secretly took along one of the new bullets with her.

Once they started fightingthe devil, Chrono orders Rosette to aim at the devil’s horn. She does this numerous times--it takes a few shots until her weapon actually does some damage to the devil. After doing this, Rosette tries to finish him off by using one of the Spirit bullets, but before she can do so the devil knocks the gun out of her hands. After the devil does this his whole body falls to pieces.

After the battle, Rosette and Chrono search for the gun but they are unable to find it.

Meanwhile, in a nearby alleyway, a man is seen pocketing it as he slowly walks away from the area.

When they return to the Magdalene Order Rosette is praised by Sister Kate but of course she doesn’t know about the missing gun.
After talking to Sister Kate, Rosette goes to where Chrono is to find that Elder has been building a machine which should be able to track down the missing bullet. But while discussing it with Elder, Minister Remington walks in, saying he has overheard everything that the three had been talking about. But he decides that he will help them find the bullet so that Rosette won’t get in trouble with Sister Kate.

While this is happening, the man with Rosette’s gun walks through the gates of the Magdalene Order. When the nuns see him they are hesitant to shoot but before they can do anything about this man, he shoots himself in the head. After doing this he turns into the devil that Rosette and Chrono had seen earlier on. It appears that the devil was able to absorb the power of the bullet so therefore he no longer needs his horn to give him the strength to fight.

Chrono appears with the devil’s horn, he waves it around and every time the devil tries to get his horn, Chrono steps back. Because of this distraction the nuns can shoot at the devil but Rosette decides to take the whole matter into her own hands. She runs in with her gun, trying to shoot the devil but unfortunately she fails when one of her bullets jams up. The devil spots Rosette, and whacks her so hard with his tail that she is thrown into the air, hitting the ground thirty feet away. She doesn't stir.

Once seeing what has happened to his friend, Chrono lets out an angry roar. Along with his screaming comes a blackish coloured wind which continuously surrounds him.

He then shouts at the devil, “What have you done? You, who have no rank, and no name, you of the lowest standing... how dare you do that to my dear contractor. And now she’s not moving!”

Chrono continues to scream and the wind gets stronger. Sister Kate then orders the nuns to shoot at the devils. But before the nuns can do anything, Rosette wakes up and runs up to Chrono, knocking him over. She tells him to stop it that she is okay. Once he sees that his contractor Rosette is alive, he starts to calm down. Rosette shoots at the devil, firing a Gospel bullet, which dispels him.

While Rosette comforts Chrono, Sister Kate questions why Rosette would trust a devil. Elder answers her question by saying that she doesn’t see him as a devil.

In another place far away, Joshua is sitting outside of a small white house when Fiore, a young maid in a French maid uniform, appears beside him. She reports that Aion called. After this is said a bunch of devils appear, with hostile intents. They demand to know where Aion is. Fiore worries, but Joshua tells her not to. He asks her to go make some tea, and she reenters the house. While Fiore prepares some tea, Joshua uses his powers to destroy all the devils in a matter of minutes.

Fiore appears again to see that Joshua has injured his hand. She kneels down before him... and starts to lick it.
